Doc — your personal health research companion
Evidence-based answers on supplements, peptides, labs, and daily health — grounded in real research, in plain language.
Enter beta →How to use it
- Ask anything about your health, supplements, symptoms, or lab results — just talk to it normally.
- Connect Apple Health or Oura so answers reflect your real numbers.
- Upload lab PDFs for Doc to read and factor in.
- Every answer gives you an insight, a recommendation, and its sources.
What Doc does
- Pulls evidence from both mainstream medicine and traditional/herbal frameworks.
- Tells you honestly where evidence is strong, thin, or conflicting.
- Remembers your context — goals, conditions, what you're taking — across conversations.
- Supports a citizen-science approach — helping you run informed, well-documented experiments on your own health and understand the evidence behind them.
What Doc does not do
- It is not your doctor — it does not diagnose or prescribe.
- It is not a substitute for professional medical advice — confirm with a qualified clinician before acting.
- It is not for emergencies — if it's urgent, call your local emergency number.
- Your stored health and chat data is encrypted at rest with a key held on Doc's server; the operator can technically access it, and content needed for answers is sent to Doc's AI provider. This is not end-to-end encryption. See how data protection works.
A note on citizen science: Doc treats you as an active participant in your own health, not a passive patient — which means changing one thing at a time, tracking honestly, and looping in a professional before anything significant. Self-experimentation works best done carefully.
How data protection works: Doc encrypts stored health-record and conversation fields using Fernet (AES-128-CBC with HMAC-SHA256). The server-held key has owner-only file permissions, but the application operator can use it to decrypt data. Records are separated by user ID and the web interface uses login and session controls. Content needed to generate a reply is sent to Doc's configured AI API provider.
